“FATHER AND SON”- THE FIRST DRAMA OF JUOZAS GRUŠAS
I am trying to obtain the maximum effect from the fight of good and evil. I am not having an eye to moralism, precepts, I am encouraging to understand moral worth like a condition without which any separate human can’t exist. My main character embodies my ambitions: he is a truth hunter having features of Don Quixote. Though, Don Quixote lost the fight, but he won human souls.
JUOZAS GRUŠAS
Drama “Father and Son” was written many years ago, but the characters remained valuable till nowadays. Human profoundness was touched there and it went to human in a vertical way. Human exists not only in the temporary manner of those times, but also in the universality.
JUOZAS MILTINIS
The dramatization of this play pretty digresses from an everyday flow. The aim of the conflict is somehow fatalistic. Both warring sides rigidly go their own ways like being spelled by the demonic powers. Human is being put on a decision line. Dramatization opens the profoundnesses of human soul in this way destroying an everyday routine.
